Excellent job with the book. I am in the process of building my firewall and have found the book to be an invaluable resource. I think it is great how you and your co-author have an updated web site and are actually "brave" enough to put your e-mail address out there

Hello, I would first like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed your book. I read it from front to back (skipping only the OpenBSD sections), and then I read it again, and again... It's the first instructional computer book that I actually liked reading. If only O'Reilly books were so fun!

I bought your book at our local computer show, choosing it over a couple of other firewall books because it seems much more readable. (I'll pick up one of the thicker, more expensive tomes for reference at the next show -- OH, and I'll also take a look at your search engine book, too.) I have found your book to be very informative, while at the same time finding the issue somewhat intimidating with all the considerations that need to be taken into account. I really get the picture that a person should consider keeping one machine physically separated from the network/internet for truly private work/files which can be hand transferred by disk whenever needed

I found your book "Building Linux and OpenBSD Firewalls" extremely helpful and informative. I come from a strong NT background and was able to follow your steps to get an OpenBSD 2.6 box up and running in a short period of time

first of all, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your book, 'Linux and OpenBSD Firewalls'. I have read it cover to cover, and I'm using it as a guide for setting up an OpenBSD firewall. It was clear and to the point, and very well written
