I found your book "Building Linux and OpenBSD Firewalls" extremely helpful
and informative. I come from a strong NT background and was able to follow
your steps to get an OpenBSD 2.6 box up and running in a short period of
One thing I wanted to point out is that on page 308, under Now I Can Do
Anything, you write that on the companion Website there are sample scripts
for a no DMZ site, moderately secure DMZ and a tightly secure DMZ.
Unfortunately your rulesets are for Linux - not the platform I need help
with. The book doesn't specify Linux...
Anyway, it would have been great to reference OpenBSD specific FW rulesets
with a DMZ because the book doesn't discuss it. And I haven't found any
place else with sample scripts like that. Particularly because I want to
have a DMZ, and I haven't been able to get traffic routed into it yet from
the external side of things.
